GOP April Meeting with Judge McGee

Judge Marty McGee

The Cabarrus County Republican Party welcomes Judge Marty McGee, conservative candidate for NC Court of Appeals at our April 5th meeting.

Judge McGee is a district court judge in Cabarrus County with more than a decade of judicial experience in family, juvenile, criminal and other civil cases. He also has more experience as a trial judge than any current member of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Before becoming a judge, McGee represented clients in courts ranging from the Supreme Court of the United States to small claims court.

Judge McGee believes courts have an important, but limited role in our constitutional democracy. He also believes in judicial restraint since politics have no role in our courts, and he is committed to deciding each case based only upon the facts and the law.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University School of Law.

As always, the meeting will be held at 7:00 pm at Paramount Catering, which is located above the Speakeasy Ale House at 9 Union Street North in downtown Concord. Come early to eat and enjoy Republican fellowship at 6:30.  Paramount offers an amazing meal for $10, tip included.
