Executive Board Application

Description

The County Executive Committee consists of the Officers and 14 At-Large Board Members: all who serve two-year terms.  The County Executive Committee has the following responsibilities:
  • Cooperate with the District and State Committees in all elections and Party activities;
  • May endorse qualified candidates for all elections within the County
  • Adopt a budget
  • Recommend nominees to the State Chairman for appointments for County Board of Election
  • Active management of Party affairs within the County.

Executive Board members lead the Republicans in the county in the areas of organizing, fundraising, events, campaigning, and managing the activities of the Party within the County

Requirements
 I'm a Registered Republican in Cabarrus County
 I've read the latest revision of the County Plan of Organization
 I'm generally available for meetings on Tuesday night preceding the regular GOP meeting (the regular GOP meeting is on the first Thrusday of the month)

 I'd be willing to serve as a precinct officer and actively be involved in organizing for the Republican Party in my area
 I'd be willing to host house parties for candidates and guests of the local Republican Party
 I'd be willing to organize at least one event a local venue for the local Party or its candidates
 I'd be willing to lead in local fundraising activities by making regular contributions to the local Party
 I'd like to be involved in phone banks and/or door-to-door Get Out The Vote efforts by participating myself and recruiting others.
